To have a life of meaning and hope

Standing at the crossroads of the twilight road, I look back on the years that have shaped my life and get soaked in deep introspection.

From the turbulent days of liberation and the 6/256/25 War to the 4/19, 5/16, and the Gwangju Democratization Movement, the journey of life was a series of trials and tribulations like Jacob in the Bible.

Now, thinking about the remaining chapters of my life, living a purposeful and meaningful life with unshakable faith is my most earnest wish.

As we reflect on the beginning of the world, we recognize that it has a rich historical process even today.

Even now, the past, present, future, dreams, and hopes are connected to each other to create a complex narrative characterized by the cycle of birth and death.

It reminds us that the importance of today lies not only in its immediacy but also in its connection with the vastness of time.

In the narrative of our lives, there is no day as precious as today.

This very moment, with all its complexities and fresh opportunities, represents the pinnacle of existence.

Time flows relentlessly and can never be regained, urging us to let go of the burden of hatred and resentment that weighs us down in our relationships.

If you open your eyes to this truth, you will be able to capture the potential for growth and transformation every day.

To embark on a journey of meaning and purpose, we must strive to illuminate our souls by reflecting the brilliance of the sunlit sky.

Let's follow the principles guided by the sages, and radiate the same brilliance as the stars that beautifully illuminate the night sky while constantly pioneering our own beliefs.

Just as the wind and the clouds dance in harmony, our lives flow with grace and adaptability, embracing the winds of change, rooted in our core beliefs.

Time moves us forward in an unstoppable flow like an endless river.

The world evolves and changes leaving traces of the past, and in order to get through this ever-changing landscape, we must let go of the weight of regret and sighs that confine us to stagnation.

If you cultivate a green heart like a green river or mountain, you can live according to the rhythm of nature. Just as a river adapts to changing terrain, we must give ourselves time to adapt, shape us and move towards growth.

As the years pass, we inevitably face the twists and turns of life, and our hearts become hurt and exhausted.

However, when it comes to the end, the fire of hatred, resentment, and sighing turns to ashes and disappears.

Looking at the ebb and flow of life's journey, symbolized by the flowing clouds, we find comfort in the fact that our dreams, love and hopes will turn into bright light.

They will be a guiding force that illuminates our path and inspires us to persevere.

In awe of the sky painted with sunsets in vibrant hues reflecting the climax of a day well lived.

Longing for rest in the Twilight Hills.

Where the deep red light blends with my soul,

Reflecting on the passage of time and the experiences that have shaped me, reminds me of the values of the past, the meaning of the present, and a firm hope for the future.
